Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro N. Mayorkas announced today that President Biden has made the following U.S. Coast Guard flag officer nominations:
Vice Adm. Michael F. McAllister for assignment as commander, Coast Guard Pacific Area, Alameda, CA. McAllister is currently serving as Deputy Commandant for Mission Support, Washington, D.C.
Rear Adm. Paul F. Thomas for appointment to the grade of Vice Adm. and assignment as Deputy Commandant for Mission Support, Washington, D.C. Thomas is currently serving as Deputy Commandant for Mission Support Deputy for Personnel Readiness, Washington, D.C.
