The New York Times Keeps a Secret

A New York Times reporter, who had been held for several months by the Taliban, escaped and is now home. Interestingly, the reporter, David Rohde, had been in captivity for several months. Ed Morrissey, one of the best bloggers out there, reports that he had known about the kidnapping for several months, as had other persons, but had kept a lid on it at the behest of the Times, which feared publicity would endanger their man.

For those with a short memory, it should be noted that the NYTs have had a problem keeping secrets, at least during the Bush Administration.
Now they ask people to keep a secret that't important to them.
