WHAT: The Veterans Day
Parade will take place on Sunday, November 11th in New York City and
EarthCam is inviting everyone to join the celebrations with live views.
EarthCam's webcam perched high above 5th Avenue delivers the perfect
look at the festivities below. The parade travels along 5th Avenue
from 26th Street north to 56th Street, beginning at
11:25am EST and lasting until approximately 3:30pm EST.
WHY: The Veterans Day
Parade has been organized in New York since 1929. Over 25,000 people
participate in the parade each year, making it the largest in the nation.
EarthCam is proud to deliver views of the marchers, colorful floats and
entertaining bands. Be sure to salute the active military officers, various
veterans groups and junior ROTC members marching in the parade.
