Sept. 14, 2021 Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III announced today that the president has made the following nomination: Navy Vice Adm. Colin J. Kilrain for appointment to the rank of vice admiral, and assignment as assistant to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Washington, D.C. Kilrain is currently serving as associate director for military affairs, Central Intelligence Agency, McLean, Virginia. |
