Air Force medical personnel are welcomed to the Hospitals of Providence Transmountain by departing medical personnel of the National Disaster Medical System in El Paso, Texas, Nov. 8, 2020. The service members will work jointly at the civilian hospital to assist in the mitigation of the virus and help residents in need. The U.S. Northern Command, through Army North, remains committed to providing flexible Defense Department support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency in support of the whole-of-nation COVID-19 response.
