12/18/2012 - FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- Five brass players of the U.S. Air Force Band of the Golden West stationed at Travis Air Force Base, Calif., came to Fairchild to bring holiday cheer to Airmen and families as well as touring the local community Dec. 13 and 14, playing holiday classics such as "We wish you a Merry Christmas" and "Jingle Bell Rock."
The brass quintet began their adventure at the Veterans Administration Hospital continuing on to St. Matthew Lutheran School and the Spokane Veterans Homes concluding their tour at Medical Lake High School. The band also played at various locations across the base Dec. 14.
