Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force visits AFNIC

7/31/2012 - Scott AFB, Ill -- Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force, James A. Roy talks with Airmen from the Air Force Network Integration Center, Air Force Space Command Cyber Support Squadron, 38th Cyber Readiness Squadron and 92nd Information Operations Squadron, Detachment 1, at Scott Air Force Base, Ill., during an enlisted call on July 30. During the call, Chief Roy discussed a number of serious topics including suicide prevention and stressed the importance of what he calls analog leadership - that is, not relying solely on technology to communicate. "We need to embrace technology but we can't let it overcome us. Get in front of [people] and if they need help, guide them. Every life matters," he said.
