General Officer Announcement
Secretary of Defense Dr. Robert M. Gates announced today that the President has nominated Reserve Marine Corps Col. Rex C. McMillian for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. McMillian is currently serving as the 4th Marine Aircraft Wing Liaison to Marine Forces Pacific, San Diego, Calif.
