Aden Swim

The New Orleans and embarked Marines are part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group, which supports maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility. The Marines are assigned to the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit.
